Dr Louisa Brownell is a Cape Town based qualified ENT surgeon. Louisa completed her specialist training through the University of Cape Town, working at various hospitals in the Western Cape, particularly Groote Schuur Hospital and Red Cross War Memorial Hospital. Her undergraduate training was completed at the University of the Free State in Bloemfontein, followed by internship and community service in Pietermaritzburg and Mkuze. She is a member of the College of Surgeons in South Africa and the ENT society of South Africa. She enjoys attending regular congresses, workshops and courses, and still enjoys teaching final year medical students.

Qualifications: MBChB UFS, Fellowship of the College of Otorhinolaryngologists of South Africa FCORL(SA), MMed (UCT), Diploma in Emergency Medicine
